bentong day 3

checked out,
and headed to bentong...
2 hrs journey there..
the whole day we've been eating & eating & eating!! =S
candice was our tour guide there...she brought us from stalls to stalls for food!
and honestly, the food there is pretty good, and cheap!
like how ppl usually say in cantonese, "peng, leng, jeng!" mann!
the whole day eating there only cost us rm20 each!

ohh, we went to the chamang waterfall too...
ermmm, its also called the "qing ren"/couple waterfall..
apparently, last time, those couple who were not being blessed will go there and.............
thank god i didnt know the story before we went! cause its kinda freakyy =S
Align Left

this is the part where KC 'lan yeng'!! xD
-osama, khoiyit, candice, KC, weifen, viyi, may-
after dinner, we went to the hot water spring,
apparently its damn famous.....alot of people will go at night worr..
it took us about 20 mins to get there...
i didnt even realize that we've arrived at that place...
along our journey there, no street lamp, no lights at all! no maintenance,
and most importantly, NO PEOPLEEEEEEEEE!!!! freakyyy...
we were the only crowd there..xD

and finally, we left bentong and reach college at around 10.30p.m and tat marks the end of our trip! we were all stuffed with food ^^ but lack of sleep! @_@

anyway, it was a great experience gained,
thanks khoiyit + GPS for bringing us around!
osama and candice for the illegal drink tat you guys bought xD,
viyi for allowing everyone to sleep,
weifen for making the sink sumbat! omhhhh *hahahaaa, just for joke*
KC for..........being gay!!

muahahhahaaaaa xD

cherating day 2

woke up at 12
half the day gone!!
had lunch and went to the turtle sanctuary...
nothing much in there..there's a mini muzium, and 3 mini ponds, filled with mini turtles =="
left the place and hang out along the beach

notice their hands???
aiyerrrrrr.... =S
then again, we went to the beach near our resort,
and damnnn, the wave is pretty strong....as now is the monsoon season..fuhhh...
we jumped into the pool after tat, and played 'water polo' even when the sky turned dark!
headed to kemaman after tat for dinner, restoran malaysia,
where we got cheated by the taukehh who cant speak properly!!

story>>>
all of us heard him saying that the stuff crab cost rm 3 each!
so we kinda *blinked*.....so cheap merhhh...
then ordered a dozen! muahahahahaaaaaa...
when the bill came, it was actually rm7 each...*blink-blinked!*
quite ex somemore the food...rm 219! $$$

went 7-11, bought chips & chips & chips,
played poker again,
then some went to bed
some, the "ye mao zhi" (midnight cats) stayed up and talked till the next morning!!

cherating day 1

first stop was sungai lembing!
climbed the hill, bukit panorama, which took us about 30 mins...
quite tiring as the steps were quite steep! *gasping for air!*

it was 5.oo a.m

our main aim was to see the sun rise,
but this was all we saw =="

got back down, and went to their............town i guess??

that place, is kinda isolated...it's like a very small town, with a very small population....and with loads of cows along our journey there =="
had breakfast and made our way to gua charas..arrived there at 9, but the cave only opens at 10..then we headed to a waterfall somewhere nearby..

group picture =)
drove to our apartment, sanctuary beach resort..
everyone gg*i dont know wats that, but they always say tat when they K.O in anything xD*, slept from 3++ till 6++...everyone was kinda exhausted i guess..

Volleyball MAPCU 2009

This year volleyball MAPCU was filled with UNCERTAINTY. Mainly because the main organizer did not want to organize it. And it was initially being called off. But our head of DSA didn't want to call it off and said that HELP will organize it.

So DSA have been working to organize the volleyball competition. I should give credit to the people who organize cause they did manage to pull it off. Although there are many uncertainties, but i can see that a lot of effort have been put into making the event a successful 1. Many colleges don't want to participate cause they don't have teams, girls teams especially, and it is not until the 11th hour that we know whether there is the competition or not. but they did try their best to get participations for both males and females category and finally, it did happen

Date: Nov 29 2009
Venue: Sports Complex, University Melaya

There are 8 teams for males, and 6 teams for females.

Males: HELP UC, Lim Kok Weng, Apiit, UCSI, Nottingham, IMU, Segi and KLIUC
Females: HELP UC, IMU, Apiit, UCSI, Nottingham and i don't know another 1. XD

In the grouping stage, males went against Apiit in the first round. And we lost. :p Lim Kok Weng didn't manage to turn up. So we need to win against UCSI to go into semi. And we did won UCSI.. yea yea.. happy.. so we were in the semi.

match against UCSI i think XD

For the girls, they fought pretty close with IMU, and won. and then won Apiit as well, with a breeze if i not mistaken. Our girls strong ok.. Roar~

Against Apiit?

In semi, the guys was up against Segi college. Erm.. nothing to comment i guess.. just that lose a lot of points in service. grrr... after losing to Segi, then compete with Apiit again for 3rd placing. and this time we won.. woo hoo hoo.. so males got third placing

For the females, semi they went up against Nottingham, and won. In the finals, they finally met their rival UCSI. And it was a very close fight. Both teams won a set, and it was the final set. Both teams service also fail. XD... but in the end, we won.. woo hoo..

time for some pictures shall we?

male team with the coach for the day, Mr. Mark

female team with coach, Mr. Cheng

everyone together..

our new president.. XD

and the GLORIOUS CUPS. :D

Final rant before signing off

I guess this will be my final rant before signing off :p

2 years in my post is not long, but it sure has been a difficult road for me. And many changes have occured. For one, the volleyball team is more organized now. we have both males and females team and we go for competition. but with that, it seems that the joy of playing volleyball is lost. the pressure to excel and to do well is always there during training and competition.

also, i think that i do a lot of things myself. maybe i OCPD, or control freak, but i think mainly i don't really trust people in doing things? therefore i took most of the burden myself and sometimes it's really hard when i need to convey the message across cause volleyballers like to TALK and no one really LISTENS (u know who i am talking about? XD). talk about karaoke, everyone listens. talk about clubbing, everyone listens. ask about trip, everyone reply (ok let me rephrase, more people reply). i send mail about volleyball, veeeeeeeery few people reply.. most of the time, none.

everytime i don't go training, sure got balls lost 1. ask them where it is, they say hit until somewhere somewhere don't know where. worst part is, sometimes it seems as if the people who train/play that day don't care. ask me not to worry cause ball will come back. yeah right.. like how? drop from the sky? this year i managed to ask Help to buy 7 new balls, and we should have 15 - 16 balls, 2 baskets full. now?

sometimes i do wonder to myself, y should i be so concern when it seems that nobody is concerned. but concern i still do because I LOVE U PEOPLE. to see some or many of you progressing is one of my greatest source of pleasure. but maybe i love you people to the extend that it's unhealthy. i guess it's cause i don't scold people. to me, scolding is useless cause if you have decided on something, it's your life and you have absolute right in deciding so. people don't always see eye to eye on many issues and i am fine with it. probably it's because of this, because i relent too much, nobody really takes me seriously. also i guess i am afraid that i might hurt anyone's feelings. so anything also i ok ok. my bad i guess.. my bad

I would like to take this opportunity to give special thanks to some people:

Ying Zhou: thanks for running the show whenever i am unavailable. having you as one of my committee is a challenge and at the same time a blessing. challenge because you ask a lot of questions which need me to go and find out the answers. blessings because by your constant questioning, i improve and don't slack off. 'play against who?' 'how we going?' 'MAHAI, WHERE CAN LIKE THAT?' XD

Belle: thanks for always attending meetings and updating me about it. I know it's super boring, but you endure it without complain. XD thanks also for helping me on things which i ask you for such as washing jersey, go DSA etc.

to both of you, my greatest appreciation.

also, i would like to extend my thanks to people who would fetch other people back home or to stations. to me, it really feels as if we are 1 big family where we make sure other people are back safely. Kay Chong, Khoi Yit, Alexis, Ying Zhou, Alvin, and all others who have contributed in one way or another.. THANKS~

i also got some people which i don't really like which i would want to say. am i bad in doing this? hmm.. i shall not use names

X: to me, sometimes i really want to take your head and bang to the wall. talking to u seems to be really useless. i say 1 thing, u say back 5 things.. i say 2 things, u say back 15 things. u seem to know how to do tai chi very well. things u can push, u push, things u cannot push, you avoid, things u cannot avoid, u run. i hope u grow up and be more responsible. think before you speak. the world doesn't revolves around u and your life. there are other people around who when they ask for help, is it so hard to help?

hmm.. oh.. i guess i only bu shuang one person. XD

finally, I would like to apologize if I have done any mistakes throughout these 2 years. If I have done anything which you think I have in some way violated you, I am sorry.

Good job to the girls for getting 2 years champion for MAPCU. Guys, great performance also today. Work harder for next year :D

Signing off officially

History of Volleyball Club

Contrary to popular belief, I was not the founder of this club. The founder of the club was Joanne Chee and her team of A-Levels. At that time, there was no court in college yet, so we went to Bangsar Sports Complex to play. Playing there was nice because everyone seems to enjoy volleyball with no pressure to excel and everyone was just playing for fun.

At that time, I guess Su Fan was the king there. XD he is a very good volleyball player from Klang and he was friendly. very quickly, me, ying zhou and su fan became close (or at least i think we were) and every week without fail, we will be there, rain or shine, regardless of how many people.

When Joanne left, she left me with her post without any option. I took up the post, and started doing my job. Now after 2 years, the post have been transfered back to A-Levels president. But it's good cause it's a more balance composition of the departments. All hail the new committee members

President: Yean May
Vice: Jonathan
Secretary: Sek Meng
Treasurer: Alvin

Please support them yea. :D

NEGERI SEMBILAN OPEN 2009

ermmm, although we lost badly in negeri sembilan, it has got to be written down here as it is part of our journey, right?? xD

well, it was a sunny afternoon when we left from college to negeri sembilan!
quite a long journey, to that place called paroi..
dai hongg was sort of our GPS there..that place is kinda ulu-ishh...lol

we first checked-in into our apartments, *something villa*, couldnt remember what is the name of the place already..that place was pretty okayy but the aircond was way too cold in the middle of the night! *no remote* =S

after that, we went straight to the court to register..the guys then had their game in the evening

the guys
- osama yz, junhao, KC, khoiyit, alvin, kaychong, lionel-

had dinner for the day in seremban town, i guess..

then we went back to the court as the guys had another game..
HUC vs MBSA!!
*jeng jeng jengggg*
no comment..

-end of day 1-

the next day, it was the girls turn to play!
i was damn excited for the game eventhough it was raining!!
until..........
we saw our opponents..
damnn, we even lost in height man!! wahlaoo...

the girls =)
-khyelie, candice, krystel, weifen, viyi, yuinnie, alexis, amanda, aichin, chervonne, may-

warming upSS session!
this was taken during the time-out when we're playing against ZENNE..
also another strong team..
no comment too xD

anyway, it was a great experience gained..
or did it traumatized us?!!
ermmm, but watever it is, at least junhao had his "glorious" moment!
he scored a point for the team during the game with MBSA, by spiking the ball over, or just tapping...everyone in the court who watched the game cheered man! muahahhaaaahaa xD
